He was predeceased by: his parents, Hurbert A. Tisdale and Mary J. Harris; his wife Maxine E. Jackson; and his adoptive daughter Geraldine Callahan. He is survived by: his children, Louise Chaffin (Wavly) of Victoria, Virginia, Alfred Jackson (Barbara) of Dundas, Virginia, Christine Watkins of Victoria, Virginia, LaVerne Edmonds (Floyd) of Victoria, Virginia, James Taylor (Linda) of Victoria, Virginia and Steve Jackson of Victoria, Virginia; his brother David Lee Harris (Christine) of Victoria, Virginia; and his goddaughter Elsie Banks of Victoria, Virginia. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
