He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard L. Michael and Anna Virginia Billhimer Michael; and his wife Belva Jean Sheesley. He is survived by: his children, W. Elmer Michael, Jr. (Ellen "Rainey" Jett) of Singers Glen, Stanley Michael (Sandra Yamileth) of Criders, Virginia Hulse (Francis) of Broadway and Wanda Hulse; his siblings, Mary Nankiville of Keezletown, Janet Clements (David) of Keezletown and Ellis Michael of Tampa, Florida; and his close friend Violet Calhoun of Mt. Crawford. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great great-grandson, and several nieces and nephews.
