It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carroll Anthony Stroop (Keezletown, Virginia), who passed away on January 29, 2020, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Stroop and Lucy Bynaker Stroop Wine; and his siblings, Jerry Stroop and Sharon Reedy. He is survived by: his wife Judy Hullihen Stroop; his daughters, Sabrina Sanchez (Carlos) of Front Royal, Carol Williams (Will) of Elizabeth City, N. C. and Calissa Getz (Keith) of Keezletown; his grandchildren, Kimbra Good (Seth), Olivia Persad (CJ), Dakota Deane, Makia Sanchez and Jakob Harpine; his great grandchildren, Kayson Good and Juliana Persad; his sisters, Betty Ryman (Richard) of Dayton and Donna Lam (Larry) of New Market; his siblings-in-law, Faye Stroop Martz of Mt Jackson and Jim Reedy of Harrisonburg; and his close friends, Bobby, Libby Schaeffer of Edinburg and Jimmy Gosney of Williamstown. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
