She is survived by: her parents, Littleton Smith and Barbara Smith of Amelia County; her husband Larry Richard "Rick" Altizer, Jr.; her daughters, Lindsey Altizer and Ashley Altizer of Keezletown; and her siblings, James B. Smith (Vicki) of Virginia Beach, Bonita Bass (David) of Amelia County and Shelia Ransom of Oklahoma City. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kyger Funeral Home - Harrisonburg (3173 Spotswood Trail, Harrisonburg, VA 22801). A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Victory Fellowship Church (3160 Limestone Ln, Dayton, VA 22821).
