He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Meadows and Eunice Vandyke Meadows; his former wife Eletta Jearn Tiller Meadows; his brothers, Randell "Joe" Bradley Meadows and Lonnie Wayne Meadows; his daughter Misty Michelle Ramey; his son-in-law Michael Ramey; his stepdaughter Melissa Carol Moore; and his sister-in-law Elaine Meadows.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Sue Keene Meadows of Keen Mountain, VA; his daughter Regina Amanda Osborne of Burkeville, VA; his siblings, Darrell Meadows (Carolyn) of Keen Mountain, VA, Roland "Charlie" Meadows of Burkeville, VA and Alice Mae Meadows of Keen Mountain, VA; and his stepchildren, Sandy Harris of Council, VA, Pamala Moore of Abingdon, VA, Buckey Tiller of Council, VA and Robert Moore of Roanoke, VA.. He is also survived by three grandsons, twelve step-grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Shortridge Ramey Funeral Home of Oakwood (1020 Big Skeggs Road, Oakwood, VA 24631). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Shortridge-Ramey Funeral Home Chapel, Keen Mountain.
