She was predeceased by: her sons, Shane and Tim Spence; her parents, Earl Hedrick of Jonesville and Alice Hedrick of Jonesville; and her brother Wayman Hedrick of Indiana.

She is survived by: her husband Jerry Spence; and her brothers, Clinton and Michael Hedrick. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and neighbors.
