She was predeceased by: her parents, Bennie Tomlinson and Mary Tomlinson. She is survived by: her pet Sassy; her daughters, Melissa A. Messing (John) of Elkton, MD and Megan R. Steward (Will) of Elkton, MD; her brother Dwayne Tomlinson of Jonesville, VA; and her grandchildren, Madison and Taylor.

In honor of her memory, contributions may be made to American Stroke Association at 7272 Greenville Ave. Dallas, TX 75231 .
