With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth K Watson of Jonesville, Virginia, who passed away on November 3, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Gray Kelly and Estelle Coomer Kelly; her husband Ray Vernon Watson; her sons-in-law, David Sizemore and Carter Shelton; her brothers, Roy Kelly, Charles Kelly and J. M. Kelly; and her cousin Edith Yeary.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Shelton, Patty Sizemore and Michael Watson (Ginger); her grandsons, Aaron Watson and Matthew Watson (Lauren); her great grandchild Anastasia Watson; her siblings, Emily Rogers (Tom), Shirley Whistine (Phil) and George Kelly (Faye); and her sister-in-law Manerva Watson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
