It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Opal Mucny (Jonesville, Virginia), who passed away on April 16, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband H. Glen Muncy; and her siblings, Carnell Hoskins, Billy Lambert, Maggie Lawson, Maudie Fields and Carson Lambert.
She is survived by: her children, Glenda "Sissy" Hedrick (Clinton), Brenda Surgener and John Wayne Muncy (Linda); and her siblings, Thelma Welch, Carl "Poe" Lambert, Roy Lambert, Mary Lou Woodard of Statesville, NC, Doris Burke and Harold Lambert.
