She is survived by: her husband Bill Carter; her sons, John Edward Carter (Damie) and Donald Carter; her grandchildren, John Ryan Carter, Emily Brooklyn Carter and John William "Billy" Carter; and her great grandchild William Haywood Carter. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
