He was predeceased by: his daughter Joyce Watts Carroll; his father John T. Carroll; and his grandparents, Cecil, Lyda Carroll, Corbitt and Alma Huff.
He is survived by: his children, Jesse Carroll (Nikki) of Dryden and Elizabeth Young (Duey) of Jonesville; his granddaughter Aubrey Carroll; his mother Judy Williams of Pennington Gap; and his sisters, Sheri Hurst (Richard) of Knoxville, Melissa Page (Michael) of Winchester, VA and Gwen Hammer (Mike) of Staunton, VA.
