He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Cody and Gladys Fitts Cody; his grandparents, Charlie, Kate Cody, John and Mary Fitts; his brothers, David Reed Cody and Terry Lee Cody; and his sister-in-law Shelia Cody.
He is survived by: his siblings, Charles Cody, Jr. (Patty) of Thurmont, MD, Charlotte Grove (Harold) and Alice Cody of Boonsboro, MD; his sister-in-law Shannon Cody of Jonesville; his nieces, Robin Cody Hall, Hannah Cody Kinsler, Fallon Grove Crist and Tiffany Cody; his great-nephew Riley Gray; his uncle Jack Fitts of Harpers Ferry, WV; and his aunt Louise Dunn of Greeneville, TN. He is also survived by numerous cousins and friends.
