She was predeceased by: her parents, George Spangler of Washington and Martha Elizabeth Givens Spangler; her husband Alford Croy; her siblings, Marion, Walter, Wesley, Mac Spangler, Mary Spangler Weston and Ruth Spangler High; and her stepson James Croy.

She is survived by: her brother Terry Richard of Knoxville, TN; her stepdaughter Donna Croy Sims; and her stepdaughter-in-law Mary Croy.

In lieu of flowers, Mrs. Croy requested that donations be made to the Spangler-Minor Cemetery, c/o Ted Leedy, 484 Lizzie Minor Road, Jonesville, VA 24263.
