He was predeceased by: his parents, James Murphree and Myrtice Murphree; and his brother James Lynn Murphree. He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Murphree; his children, Rebecca Dawn Cope of Jonesville, VA, Heather Marie Cheney (David) of Forney, TX and Jared Lee Murphree of Toney, AL; his grandchildren, Aleigha of Jonesville, VA and Cameron Cope of Jonesville, VA; his sister Francis Marie Perrin (Ellis) of Pell City, AL; and his sister-in-law Patricia Murphree of Church Hill, TN. He is also survived by extended family and special friends.
