He was predeceased by: his parents, Ted Lamb and Ada Lamb; his siblings, Mary Ann Willis and Billy Lamb; and his niece Melinda Willis Lane.
He is survived by: his wife Joanne Johnson Lamb; his children, Renee Chester (David) and Jeff Lamb (Sheldon); his grandson Nate Chester (Rebecca); his stepgrandchildren, Collyn, Carder and Chesneigh Chasteen; his great grandchild Hayden Chester of Jonesville, VA; and his sisters, Jackie Roop of Blountville, TN and Lois Duncan (Jerry) of Hartwell, GA..
The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society or to St. Judes Children's Research Hospital.
