She was predeceased by: her parents, John Fitts and Mary Fitts; her husband Charles Cody; her sons, David Reed Cody and Terry Lee Cody; and her siblings, Vivian Moore, Elizabeth Cody, Verda Edwards, Marie Carter, Alice Fitts and Ransom Fitts.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Cody, Jr. (Patty) of Thurmont, MD, Jonathan Cody of Boonsboro, MD, Charlotte Grove (Harold) and Alice Cody of Boonsboro, MD; her daughters-in-law, Shelia Cody of Jonesville and Shannon Cody of Jonesville; her granddaughters, Robin Cody Hall, Hannah Cody Kinsler, Fallon Grove Crist and Tiffany Cody; her great grandchild Riley Gray; her siblings, Jack Fitts of Harpers Ferry, WV and Louise Dunn of Greeneville, TN; her niece Connie Moore (Ralph); and her pet Petie. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
