Freda Wingfield Heflin Gibbons Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Freda Wingfield Heflin Gibbons (Jonesville, Virginia), who passed away on January 16, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Robert and Ada Wingfield Heflin; her husband James Earl "Jim" Gibbons; and her siblings, Edna, Icelene Ramsey (Charlie), John Robert "Jack" Heflin, Myrtle Wingfield (Luther), Marshall Heflin (Peg) and Rachel Whited Lawrence (Tom).
She is survived by: her sons, Jonathan Gibbons and Andrew Gibbons (Ena); her grandchildren, Zak, Lydia, Anna, Abby and Aaron (Sarah); her great grandchild Henry; and her sister-in-law Peggy Gibbons Payne of Ohio. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and many wonderful friends.
