She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Browning and Jerusha Browning; her husband Howard D. "Denny" York, Sr.; her brothers, Denver Ray "Buck" Browning (Valdean) and Richard Browning (Betty Dean); and her close friend Rhonda Johnson.
She is survived by: her sons, Douglas Ray York (Lavonne) of London, Denham York (Linda) of Harlan and Daniel York of Jonesville, VA; her grandchildren, Rebecca York of London and Tyrus York (Brittney) of Lexington; her great grandchild Benjamin Jacob York of London; her brother Edward Browning (Phyllis) of Harlan; and her close friends, Erika Dingus of Jonesville, VA, Kathleen Stewart and Kim Huff of Harlan. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives.
