He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hand and Cora Hand; and his siblings, Marion, Homer, Joe, Jim, Morris, Rosco Hand, Ruby Miles and Ollie Miles.
He is survived by: his sons, Danny Hand (Robin) of Jonesville, VA and Christopher Hand of Dryden, VA; and his sister Eliza Carroll of Jonesville, VA. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces and friends.
Due to Covid-19 regulations only ten people at a time inside or outside of the funeral home and the cemetery.
