It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Clayton Pendleton of Jonesville, Virginia, who passed away on December 7, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Haze Pendleton and Nell Snodgrass Pendleton; and his brothers, Gary and Dwight Pendleton (Sam). He is survived by: his wife Carol Bailey Pendleton; his daughter Pam; his son-in-law John Crusenberry of Jonesborough, TN; his granddaughters, Kamrin Bishop and Kynlee Johnson of Jonesville; his sister Sharon Harber of Jonesville; his pet Buddy; and his nephews, Greg Pendleton, Samuel Pendleton, Steven Powers, Dustin Powers, Nicholas Johnson, David Bailey, Scott Bailey, Rex Bailey and Jesse Bailey. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association in memory of Charles Clayton Pendleton.
