She was predeceased by: her parents, Nell Stickley and Carl Hines; and her stepfather Olin F. "Jack" Stickley. She is survived by: her sons, John and Matt; her close friend Vera Ely; her cousin Nancy Garrett; and her caregiver RayAnne Weston Rogers.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Jonesville First United Methodist Church.
