We are sad to announce that on January 25, 2025, at the age of 82, Burley Neil Leedy of Jonesville, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Millard Went and Velty Lee Kelly Leedy; and his siblings, Rueben, Billy, Aleck, Cecil Ray, George, Delbert, Ben, Rufus Leedy, Goldie May Little, Margie Long, Maritta Gentry and Vernette Parsons.
He is survived by: his sons, Timothy N. Leedy and Tommy L. Leedy (Lisa); his grandchildren, David T. and Clara L. Leedy; his siblings, Nellie Sue Booso (John), John Leedy (Helen) and Mary Alice Fortner; his sisters-in-law, Donna Leedy, Ruth Leedy and Diane Leedy; and his grandchildren, Varina and Will Leedy. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Friendship Baptist Church (28970 Wilderness Rd, Jonesville, VA 24263). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
