He was predeceased by: his father William Milburn Welch; his wife Wanda Mae Welch; his son Billy Welch Jr.; his great grandchild Colton Barber; and his brothers, Hobart, Morris, Armour and Glen Welch.
He is survived by: his children, William Welch (Paula), James Welch (Angie), Debbie Preston (Ed) and Teresa Welch; and his siblings, Fayne Welch (Marcella) and Freda Yeary (Jack Bonham). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
