She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Horner and Minnie Horner; her husband Dr. Benjamin Harrison Hines; her sisters, Charlotte Brooks, Lois Gibson, Sarah Brooks and Cybil Horner; her stepson Benjamin Hines; and her son-in-law Jerry Crusenberry.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Hines (Cheryl) of Jonesville, Marsha Twigg (Michael) of Jonesville and Betty Crusenberry of Jonesville; her stepson John Hines of Jonesville; her grandchildren, Dr. Autumn Peters (Chris) of Atlanta, GA, Dr. Lincoln Hines (Naomi) of Athens, GA, Kristen Cote (Myles) and Tyler Twigg (Brianna) of Kingsport, TN; and her great grandchildren, Parker Cote, Adalynn Twigg, Kenna Cote, Ari Peters, Aubrynn Twigg and Margot Peters. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Robinette Funeral Home (146 Maple Dr, Jonesville, VA 24263). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A procession was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Cemetery Are Asked. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Hines Cemetery.
