He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Woliver and Wanda Davis Woliver; his brother Author Woliver; his sister-in-law Romona Woliver; his uncle Jay Davis; and his cousin David Fleenor.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Woliver; his son Ben Woliver (Heather); his grandchildren, Jasmine Rogers of Gate City, Jayson Woliver of Jonesville, VA., Emma-Lee Woliver of Jonesville, VA. and Lilly Mae Woliver of Jonesville, VA.; his brothers, Harold Woliver, Bob Woliver (Rebecca), Daniel "Peanut" Woliver and Roy Woliver (Cindy); and his sister-in-law Chris Woliver. He is also survived by several other nieces, nephews, close relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mullins-Sturgill Funeral Home (298 Harrell St, Pennington Gap, VA 24277). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Mullins-Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel (298 Harrell St, Pennington Gap, VA 24277). A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Woliver Family Cemetery.
