It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ann Elkins Mills Tharp (Jonesville, Virginia), born in Blackwater, Virginia, who passed away on September 30, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Merle Elkins and Hubert Elkins; her husband James Wesley Mills Junior; her children, Wesley Ann, Victoria, Richard, Michael and David; and her siblings, Bobbie Speck of Dayton Ohio, Barbara Elkins of Blackwater and James Crawford Elkins of Castlewood. She was also cherished by three children, seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to First Baptist Church of Jonesville or Young Life Putnam County Florida.
