It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Albert Cecil Allen of Jonesville, Virginia, who passed away on February 14, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wheeler Allen and Ressie Edwards Allen; his wife Gertie Wyatt Allen; his great grandchild D. J. Allen; and his siblings, Roy, Kenneth, Junior Allen, Flossie Allen and Ollie Elkins.
He is survived by: his children, Dennis Allen (Lorene), Danny Lee Allen (Diana), David Allen (Diane) and Judy Garrett; and his sisters, Louella Moore and Thelma Bledsoe. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and several great and great-great-grandchildren.
