She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Lankford and Martha Hill Lankford; her husband Cecil P. Gilbert; her brothers, Curtis and James Lankford; and her niece Sue Hess.
She is survived by: her stepchildren, Rhonda Compton (Randy), Cindy White (Wesley), Daniel Gilbert (Teena), Robert Gilbert (Sharon) and Dean Gilbert. She is also survived by family Nephews.
