She was predeceased by: her parents, Effie Bryant Taylor and Clovis Taylor; her husband James "Jim" Wilson Combs; her children, Randolph, Johnny Combs and Bernice Whitt; and her brother Sonny Taylor.
She is survived by: her sister Geneva Lockhart of Richlands, VA.; and her children, Betty Horton (Ron) of Baptist Valley, VA, Donald Ray Combs (Nancy) of Catawba, VA, Patricia Freeman of Tazewell, VA, Bobby Glenn Combs of Roanoke, VA, Linda Gay Combs of Tazewell, VA and Nora Houchins (Nicky) of Cedar Bluff, VA. She is also survived by her 15 grandchildren and many great- grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
As a result of the COVID-19 Pandemic and the Commonwealth of Virginia Mandate, facial coverings and social distancing are required at all times.
