He was predeceased by: his parents, Angus Thompson and Arlene Stinnett Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Rita Faye Thompson; his daughters, Mary Brand of Chesterfield and Michelle Ellett (Mark) of Burkeville; his grandchildren, Mark Ellett, Jr., Cullen, Ethan Brand, Michael and Melanie Ellett; and his siblings, Gray Thompson of Gladys, Lynn Mellott of Evington, VA and Robin Thompson of Concord.
