He was predeceased by: his parents, Jake Lewis and Carrie Tipton Lewis; and his son Eddie L. Martin. He is survived by: his wife Nellie Paulette Lewis; his children, Wayne Martin of Keysville, Kathy Bandy of Jetersville, Marshall Martin of Amelia, George Brunk of South Carolina and Angie Elliott; and his sisters, Mary Cooper of Farmville and Athelene Thompson of Farmville. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
