He was predeceased by: his parents, John Jasper (Jack) and Mary Etta Christopher; his grandmother Mary; and his siblings, Johnny, Benjamin, Richard, Lawrence, Joseph, Margaret, Cora, Sallie, Florence and Helen.

He is survived by: his sister Mary Elaine Gerald. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews; great-great nieces and nephews, cousins, family and friends.
