She is survived by: her son Michael Bowles Sr. (Stephanie); her stepchildren, Laquita Alford (James), Angel Wright (Karl), Tara Wall and Byron McBee; her grandchildren, Margo Bowles, Chazmen Tate, Tristan Alford, Jermaine McBee and Devarius Parker; her siblings, James Bowles (Cessie), Harvey (Minnie), John (Pearl), Clarence Carey (Brenda), Doris Mondrey (Edward), Carrie Mondrey, Viola Pegram, Joan Macklin and Chermaine Booker; her sister-in-law Hattie Carey; and also Tongula Mondrey. She is also survived by great nieces and nephews, cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM and at 6:00 PM at the M. W. Hawkes Funeral Home (15001 Patrick Henry Hwy, Amelia Court House, VA 23002). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Union Branch Baptist Church (10861 Mt Zion Rd, Jetersville, VA 23083).
