She is survived by: her children, Melvin Yates, Cynthia Williams (Leon) and Mary Pollard; her grandchildren, George Pollard, Jr. (Tanya), Shawn Lewis, Samantha Ferguson, Leon Williams, Jerome Pollard, Nicole Williams, Shantay Afolayan Tiffany Pollard (Femi) and Charles Pollard, Jr.; her nephew Jerry Yates (Pat); her godson Roger Williams; her daughter-in-law Denitress Britt; and her siblings-in-law, Ethel West and Roland Pollard.
