Helen Marie Grayson Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Helen Marie Grayson of Jeffersonton, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 4, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Helen Marie may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Helen Marie touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Shedwick Winston and Rosie Winston; and her son Wesley Grayson. She is survived by: her husband Wesley R. Grayson; her daughter Gwendolyn Grayson; her grandchildren, Vincent Grayson, Cherrae Grayson-Freeman, Ryan Grayson and Zahki Grayson; her sister Dorothy McNeil; and her sisters-in-law, Berthel Watkins and Mollie Allen. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Wayland Blue Ridge Baptist Center (15044 Ryland Chapel Rd, Rixeyville, VA 22737). A celebration of life was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
