He was predeceased by: his parents, John Francis Hillyard and Anne Simpson Hillyard; and his siblings, John Hillyard, Robert Hillyard and Jane Winters.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Albus Hillyard; his children, Paul Hillyard (Suzette), Elizabeth White (Nelson) and Jennie Blankenship (Jerry); and his siblings, Charlotte Gardner, Eileen Edmonds, David Hillyard and Richard Hillyard. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren.
