He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Baker and Christine Baker; his wife Esther Baker; his siblings, Pency, Julia, Rosa, Abraham, Thomas, Charles, Hilton, Rosevelt, Alphonso and Lewis; and his son Orienthial "OJ" Baker.
He is survived by: his children, Monica Baker (Chris), Kieth Baker (Janell) and Napoleon Irvin; his stepson Kelvin Coleman (Debra); and his grandchildren, LaShonda, Jake, Aaron, Michelle, Desiree, Citera, Dominique, Trinity, Jr., Trayvon, Orienthia, Olyvia, Jacelyn, Jasmine, Tayquan, Nabria, Mickel, Natalie, Brittany and Jamiya. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Chapel of J. L. Dodson and Sons Funeral Establishment (447 Old South Main St, Danville, VA 24541). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
