It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kathy Thomas Sawyer of Java, Virginia, born in Kingsport, Tennessee, who passed away on September 1, 2023, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Thomas and Marjorie Cox Thomas; and her brothers, Jeff Thomas and Jimmy Thomas. She is survived by: her husband Robert "Bob" Sawyer; her children, William "Bill" Thomas Sawyer of Johnson City, TN and Amanda "Mandy" Moser of Java; her siblings, Michael Thomas (Tracie) of Johnson City, TN, Hope Boyce of Greensboro, NC and Vickie Julian (Paul) of Fairview, TN; her grandchildren, Hunter Moser and Calley Moser; and her sisters-in-law, Becky Hooks (Raymond), Jane Thomas, Betty Sandhagen (Ray) and Ann Sawyer. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
