It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johnny Mac Hogan of Java, Virginia, born in Franklin, Virginia, who passed away on January 30, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Bennett Hogan and Kathleen Dudley Hogan; and his sisters, Linda Dalton and Joanne Perdue. He is survived by: his children, Amanda Berger (Andy) of Chatham, Leslie Hiatt (James) of Java and Matt Hogan of Java; his siblings, Bobby Hogan (Marie) of Java, Ricky Hogan (Janet) of Gretna and Kathy Shelton of Gretna; and his grandchildren, Brett, Emma, Nicholas, Jayden and Corey. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
