He is survived by: his son Jeffery Barksdale of Charlottesville, Virginia; his sister Sarah Hamm of Danville, Virginia; his niece Carol Miller (Michael) of Gretna, Virginia; his sister-in-law Sylvia Petty (Arthur) of Gretna, Virginia; his nieces, Bernice Waller (Lee) of Oxon Hill, Nakita "Princess" Ferebee of Virginia Beach, Clara of Danville, Virginia and Jean Barksdale of Danville, Virginia; and his sister-in-law Barbara Coles of Java, Virginia. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
