He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Vaden and Clara Fitzgerald Vaden; his significant other Sandra Townes Vaden; and his siblings, Tony Edward Vaden and Debra "Mickey" Vaden.
He is survived by: his daughter Mitz Townes of Raleigh, NC; his siblings, Lyenal of Chatham, VA, Jacqueline of Danville, VA, Sandra Faye of Brosville, VA, William "Buck" of Chatham, Jerel (Breanna) of Danville, VA and Larry (Gwen) of Bowie, MD; his aunts, Carrie Womack and Carolyn King; his great-aunt Thelma Fitzgerald; and his cousin Jackie "Tater". He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws.
