He was predeceased by: his father Alvin Hubert Strickland; his wife Angela Barnes Strickland; and his brother Mark Strickland. He is survived by: his mother Edna Redd Strickland of Gretna; his children, Dustin Strickland (Bethany) of Gretna, Ashley Moore (Mandy) of Chatham and Leanne Lantrip of Gretna; his siblings, Marvin Strickland of Blairs, Doc Strickland of Halifax and Bobbi Jo Saunders of Chatham; and his grandchildren, Erica Lantrip and Logan Lantrip.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Colbert-Moran Funeral Home (307 Main St, Gretna, VA 24557). A graveside service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Carl O. Moran Memorial Garden North Main.
