He is survived by: his wife Nannie P. Glass; his son Garland Glass, Jr. (Angela) of Java, Virginia; his granddaughter Ashiah Glass (Virginia) of Richmond; his sister Gayle Kirby of Danville, Virginia; his cousin John (June Glass); his siblings-in-law, Dora Miller of Long Island, Virginia, Hattie Ham of Long Island, Virginia and Bernard Patrick (Sarah) of Hurt, Virginia; and his aunt Margaret Graves of Lynchburg, Virginia.
