It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Deacon McKinley Womack (Java, Virginia), who passed away on April 26, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew Nunnally and Annie Dodson Womack Nunnally; his son Kennedy Womack; and his siblings, Willie Waller, Jack Womack, Albert Lee Womack, Matthew Harris Womack, Norman Womack, Eugene Womack (Red), Archie Womack (Shorty), Lucy Stephens and Gladys Lyde.

He is survived by: his children, Gail Patricia Pratcher (Samuel) and McKinley Womack, Jr. (Marsha); his stepdaughters, Wanda Logan and Michelle Logan; his siblings-in-law, Jasper Fitzgerald, Bobby Walker (Jean), David Walker (Alice), Thomas Walker (Kim) and Iris Parker; his grandchildren, Geoffrey Womack (Tammy), Danita Womack, LeDay Womack (Yolanda), Byron Lee, Erik Bey, Kiya Ridgeway (Wesley), LaTasha Malone (Johnny), Kara Womack and Alyssa Womack; his niece Hilda Taylor; and his sister Mable King. He is also survived by twelve great grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren.
