She was predeceased by: her father Terry Jackson Bennett. She is survived by: her mother Elsie Emerson Bennett of Gretna; her daughter Ashleigh Meeks of Raleigh, NC; her siblings, Michael Meeks (Sandra) of Gretna, Oscar Meeks (Donna) of Gretna, Lyndon Meeks (Rose) of Gretna, Larry Meeks (Sherri) of Gretna and Dianne Meeks of Gretna; her fiancé Michael Betterton; and her close friend Chelene Anderson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
