He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford W. Richardson, Sr. and Vera Hale Richardson; and his sister Carolyn R. Slagle. He is survived by: his wife Mary Kathryn "Kitty" Richardson; his children, Tammy Dettman and Christopher Richardson; his stepchildren, Cathy Eberly (Mike) and Alan Foltz; his grandchildren, Madison Mula and Jackson Dettman; his stepgranddaughters, Katelyn Nader (Alex) and Chelsea Eberly (Derrick Rollins); his great grandchildren, Jayden Rollins, Zachary Nader, Cameron Rollins and Theo Nader; and his siblings, Clifford W. Richardson, Jr. (Gail) and Joyce D. Green (John). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 1:00 PM and on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Owen Funeral Home (303 S Halifax Rd, Jarratt, VA 23867). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 2:00 PM and on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Fisher House Foundation (fisherhouse.org) which assists veteran and military families with housing when they have loved ones in veteran hospitals.
