We are sad to announce that on September 20, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Mary Belle Harrison Parker Nye of Jarratt, Virginia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Claude Harrison and Pearl Harrison; her husband Garland Slade Parker; her son Garland Slade "Rusty" Parker; her former husband Abner Alexander Nye; her daughters, Sherri Dawn Parker (Bill Dutton, Jr.) and Sandra Slade Parker York (Peter York); her stepsons, Paul Nye (Diane) and Peter Nye (Valerie); and her close friend Hazel Ann Leonard. She was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 5-7 p. m. Friday, September 25 at Owen Funeral Home, 303 S. Halifax Rd in Jarratt where the funeral service will be held 11 a. m. Saturday, September 26. (Please consider all protocols of social distancing and face coverings).
