It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leevonie Wilkins of Jarratt, Virginia, who passed away on July 9, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Curtis (Linda) of Jarratt, Sherman (Terrie) of Jarratt, Gloria Wilkins of Jarratt and Rosemary Carson (Roger) of Emporia, Virginia; his grandchildren, Arnandez, Preston, Sherry, George, Brittney, Randy, Jasmine, DeJarnette and Sade; his great grandchildren, Zariah, Madison, MyAsia, Jace, Prynceston, Cali, Cazlyn, Cassi, Cannen, Miley, Nola, Noah and Messiah; his sisters, Teola of Washington and Shirley Porter; and his sister-in-law Hattie Lucas (Roosevelt). He was also cherished by his parents, wife, siblings and in-laws.
