We are sad to announce that on January 14, 2020, at the age of 75, Irvin Duane Chappell Jr. (Jarratt, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvin D. Chappell, Sr. and Arline Johnson Chappell; his daughters, Cheryl Chappell Murdock and Patricia Chappell; and his sister Linda Powers.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Rideout Chappell; his brother David A. Chappell (Charlene); and his siblings-in-law, Reverend Amos Rideout, Jr. (Moonyeen), Sylvia R. Cravath (Jim) and Brenda R. Aberle (Patrick). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to a favorite charity.
