It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Crosby W. Jones of Jarratt, Virginia, who passed away on April 26, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Cecil Tyler and William Thomas; and his brothers, Charlie Jones and Linwood Harris. He is survived by: his wife Jannie Jones of Jarratt; his sons, Crosby Windell Jones Jr. and Steve Allen Brown of Jarratt; his grandchildren, Crista Mason of Emporia Virginia, Shyla and Shaheem Hicks of Alexandria; his great grandchildren, Tavon, Aleah, Shyne Hicks, George, Skylah Tate, Ja'myah Johnson, Azyah Rector and Alonzo Green; and his nieces and nephews, Joyce Wilkins, Annie Williams Shaneik (Antione), LaShawnda Harris, Krystal Kioner Dana Jones (Charles), Phillip, James, Charlie Revell, Very, Beverly Hill, Amanda Williams and Charles Derek Jones.
